Soil erosion is considered one of the most important and harmful threats to global food security and environmental sustainability. Intensive agriculture may increase soil erosion in most agricultural lands. This research was conducted to determine and zone the soil carpet using the RUSLE model and ARC GIS software in wheat and potato cultivated lands in Abi Biglo region of Ardabil. Sampling was carried out from 100 points in a random manner and in a nearly regular grid pattern. Soil parameters like texture, EC, WDC, WDSi, Vf Sand, C Sand were measured and the K factor was calculated using the RUSLE model. The soil erosion zoning map was drawn using Kriging interpolation in ARC GIS software. The soil erodibility factor (K) had a mean value of 0.03 t ha⁻¹ yr⁻¹, a range of 0.01–0.05 t ha⁻¹ yr⁻¹, and a coefficient of variation of 28.82%. According to the USDA‑NRCS classification, soils with a K factor lower than 0.10 t ha⁻¹ yr⁻¹ fall into the very low erodibility class. Therefore, all the lands area belong to the very low class of this classification and have a very low susceptibility to erosion .Pearson’s correlation showed that the K factor was highly correlated with silt (r= 0.773). Also, the K factor significantly correlated with WDC (r=0.663**) and very fine sand (r=0.602**), clay (r=-528**) and coarse sand (r=-0.539**). The zoning map of the K factor showed that 86% (1185 hectares) of the study area was in the range of 0.015–0.035 t ha⁻¹ yr⁻¹, indicating low and uniform erosion in the majority of this area, and only in 13.7% (230 hectares) of the area (northwestern parts) did erosion susceptibility show higher values. The results provide a basis for sustainable land management and prioritization of conservation measures in the agricultural lands of Ardabil Province
